The New Year is now in full swing, holiday season well behind us and the general feeling that we have is that everyone wants to get on with it.

The building industry on the Kapiti Coast took a fair old pounding last year, with many players (council included) taking a significant hit.

AD Architecture experienced a very positive swing at the end of the year which has carried us through into the New Year therefore we are very positive about the upcoming year with enquiry contact from potential clients already at a significant level.

We are continuing to invest in the company with software items such as a 3D rendering package called Artlantis and ABM administrative software being high on the shopping list.

This month Peter and Jon will be attending two events of note.

On the 19th of March, ADNZ are holding the first CPD seminar of the year with guest speakers Doc Bob Lloyd and Architect Johann Bernhardt talking about renewable energy and designing sustainable houses.

On the weekend of the 27th & 28th of March, ADNZ are going to be involved in the Kapiti Sustainable Home & Garden Show at Paraparaumu School. Come and see us if you want to talk design or want to know more about ADNZ and what it's members can offer.

This year will see a continuation of the building industry embracing eco design, with many varied and interesting events planned by the likes of ADNZ and other industry players to help educate and think outside the square.
